LEGAL / PRIVACY
This policy explains how GLORIOUS LTD. handles information in the mobile applications, websites, products, and related services that we operate.
1. Scope and Controller
This Privacy Policy applies to mobile applications, websites, products, and related services (collectively, the “Services”) operated by GLORIOUS LTD. (“Glorious,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It is intended to cover multiple applications operated by the same company. A specific Service may provide an additional notice where its features or legal requirements call for more detail.
GLORIOUS LTD. is the controller of personal information processed under this policy, except where another party is identified as an independent controller.
2. Information We May Collect
The information we collect depends on the Service, the features you use, your device settings, and the permissions you choose to grant. We may collect the following categories:
Account and contact information
- Name, username, email address, postal address, date of birth or age range, profile image, account credentials, and other profile information.
- Communications, support requests, survey responses, and information you provide when contacting us.
User content and service data
- Text, images, photos, video, audio, documents, records, preferences, saved items, and other content you create, upload, store, or share through a Service.
- Information generated through your use of a Service, including feature settings, activity history, search history, interactions, and records associated with your account.
Device, usage, and diagnostics data
- Device type, operating system, app version, language, time zone, IP address, mobile network, device or app identifiers, advertising identifiers where permitted, notification token, and general device settings.
- Log data, session data, pages or screens viewed, button interactions, referral information, performance data, crash reports, and diagnostic information.
Permission-based information
If a feature requires it and you grant the relevant system permission, a Service may access or process:
- Approximate or precise location;
- Camera, microphone, photos, videos, media library, or files;
- Contacts, calendar, reminders, or nearby devices;
- Bluetooth, local network, motion, fitness, activity, or sensor data;
- Health, wellness, or other sensitive information;
- Clipboard content only when you intentionally paste or use a feature that requires it; and
- Notifications and background activity.
You can manage most permissions in your device settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from working.
Purchases and subscriptions
We may receive transaction identifiers, product purchased, subscription status, renewal status, price tier, country or region, and related receipt information from Apple or another authorized platform. Payment card details are processed by the platform or payment provider and are not ordinarily received or stored by us.
Information from third parties
Where you choose to connect another service, sign in through a third party, or use an integrated feature, we may receive information authorized by you and permitted by that third party. We may also receive analytics, attribution, fraud-prevention, advertising, or publicly available information as permitted by law.
3. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, personalize, synchronize, and improve the Services;
- Create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and preserve user settings and content;
- Process purchases, confirm entitlements, administer subscriptions, and maintain transaction records;
- Send service messages, security alerts, transactional communications, and, with permission where required, push notifications and marketing communications;
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries, requests, complaints, and account-deletion requests;
- Measure usage, perform analytics, test features, diagnose errors, and improve performance and accessibility;
- Protect users, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our terms, and maintain the security and integrity of the Services;
- Comply with law, lawful requests, accounting obligations, and dispute-resolution requirements; and
- Carry out another purpose disclosed at the time of collection or with your consent.
Where required by applicable law, we rely on consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, protection of vital interests, or our legitimate interests, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
4. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Features
Some Services may offer artificial-intelligence, recommendation, analysis, or automated features. Information you submit to such a feature may be processed by us or by a service provider solely to deliver, secure, evaluate, and improve the feature as described in the applicable Service. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required. Do not submit sensitive information unless the feature expressly requests it and you are comfortable doing so.
Automated output may be inaccurate and should not be treated as professional, medical, legal, or financial advice. Where a decision has legal or similarly significant effects, we will provide any rights required by applicable law.
5. Notifications, Marketing, and Tracking Choices
With your permission, we may send push notifications. You may change notification settings at any time in the Service or your device settings. You may unsubscribe from promotional email using the link in the message; essential account, security, and transaction messages may continue.
If a Service uses data to track activity across apps or websites owned by other companies, we will request permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework where required. You may change that choice in your device privacy settings. Refusing tracking permission will not prevent access to core paid functionality.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information for money. We may disclose information as follows:
- Service providers: hosting, cloud storage, authentication, communications, customer support, analytics, crash reporting, security, payment support, content processing, and other vendors acting for us under appropriate restrictions.
- Platform and integration partners: Apple and other platforms or services when necessary to provide a requested feature, verify a purchase, or comply with platform rules.
- Other users or the public: when you intentionally publish, share, or collaborate through a Service. You control what you choose to share, subject to the Service’s settings.
- Legal and safety purposes: when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or enforce agreements.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.
- With your direction or consent: for another disclosed purpose that you authorize.
Where applicable law treats certain advertising or analytics disclosures as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising, we will provide the required notice and opt-out mechanism before engaging in that activity.
7. Health and Other Sensitive Information
A Service that processes health, fitness, precise location, biometric, financial, or other sensitive information will do so only for the disclosed feature and in accordance with applicable law and platform requirements. Health information obtained through Apple Health or HealthKit will not be used for advertising, marketing, or data-broker purposes. We will not use sensitive information for an incompatible purpose without additional notice and any required consent.
8. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the Services, maintaining security, resolving disputes, and satisfying legal, tax, accounting, and reporting obligations. Retention periods vary according to the type of information, account status, sensitivity, legal requirements, and technical needs.
When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it, unless continued retention is required or permitted by law. Deletion from backups may take additional time because of secure backup cycles.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and for promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.
10. International Data Transfers
We are based in Japan. Information may be processed in Japan and in other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers and provide further information on request.
11. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent, or information about disclosures of your personal information. You may also have the right to appeal a decision or complain to a data-protection authority.
You may update certain information in the Service, manage device permissions in system settings, and request account deletion through the in-app account settings where available. You may also contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, subject to verification of their authority.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. Some information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate security and recordkeeping purposes.
12. Account Deletion
If a Service supports account creation, it will provide a way to initiate deletion of the account from within the app. You may also follow the instructions on our App Support page. Account deletion removes or anonymizes personal information associated with the account unless retention is required or permitted by law. Deleting an app from a device does not by itself delete the account.
13. Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed to children below the minimum age required to consent to data processing in their jurisdiction, unless a specific Service is expressly designed for children and provides the notices, parental consent, and safeguards required by law. If we learn that a child’s information was collected without required authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian may contact us with a concern.
14. Third-Party Services and Links
The Services may link to or interoperate with third-party services. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies, not this policy. Review those policies before providing information or enabling an integration.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the Services, law, technology, or our practices. We will post the revised policy and update the “Last updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent. Your use of a Service after the effective date of an update is subject to the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.
